When wavy letters feel right
- Seascapes and travel art: the ripple echoes water.
- Gentle messages: the cloud softens a phrase.
- Quiet titles that stand out without the weight of bold.
Combine ripples with other styles
| Combination | Example | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Small caps + waves | s̰ᴇ̰ᴀ̰ | Beach bios |
| Outline + dots | 𝕊̣𝕖̣𝕒̣ | Soft titles |
| Sans + rain | 𝖲͙𝖾͙𝖺͙ | Melancholy captions |
Copy a styled word, paste it back into the box, then search "wavy" to add ripples on top.
Why the marks sometimes drift
Combining marks rely on the device's font. On wide letters (M, W) or letters that already carry an accent, a mark can sit off-center. That is normal Unicode behavior. Short words without accents look best.
Questions artists ask
How do I put a squiggle under letters?
Use Wavy Underline. It adds the tilde-below mark (U+0330) to each letter.
Does wavy text work on WhatsApp?
Yes. Combining marks display on most modern phones.
Why is the wave missing on some letters?
The device font may not position that mark well. Try another ripple style.
