Biography

Awais Ahmad is the founder and editor of Letras Bonitas Art. He designs and maintains the site’s tools, including the fancy font generator and the Lettering Studio, and writes the guides in the Journal.

Letras Bonitas started as a Spanish-language font tool and grew into a family of sites in Spanish, Portuguese and English. With this English edition, Awais set out to build something slower and more personal: a studio that treats letters as part of an artwork, not an afterthought, and that respects the people who make art by never stamping a watermark on their work.
